About Vinings, GA

The 2000 census put the population of Vinings at about 10,000.  Since then Vinings has remained one of the most highly desired addresses in the metro Atlanta area.  Although Vinings residents have an Atlanta address, they attend Cobb county schools:  Teasley Elementary School, Campbell Middle School, and Campbell High School.  Vinings is unincorporated and is under Cobb County’s jurisdiction.  It is currently under consideration to become a “township” and that bill is expected to be introduced to the Georgia Assembly in 2008.
